American Peptide Company is pleased to announce two new hires.
Firuz Shakoori - Sales Director
Firuz Shakoori joined American Peptide Company in January 2009. He has 25 years of experience in the peptide industry in various capacities ranging from bench chemist to VP of manufacturing to numerous sales positions. As the sales director, Mr. Shakoori is responsible for new business development in the U.S. He will work closely with customers as their drug products move from discovery to commercialization.
Gabe Smith - Purification Manager
Adding to our growing purification team, American Peptide Company is pleased to have Gabe Smith return to APC as our Purification Manager. He has over 11 years of combined R&D and industrial experience in addition to the six years of specialized industrial experience in cGMP manufacturing of peptides. In his role, Mr. Smith will be responsible for the daily operations of peptide production.
