Letter from the President
Greetings!
Welcome to the premiere issue of the Peptide Wire, the American Peptide Company’s new semi-annual e-newsletter. We have created this resource to keep you up-to-date on the latest news and events at American Peptide Company as our business evolves at a rapid pace.
As many of you know, this year has been very busy for the American Peptide community. We are in the midst of expanding our Vista facility in California. For us and those we serve, this is a significant development and it’s only fitting that we focus on this exciting initiative in our first e-newsletter.
The move to expand our state-of-the-art Vista plant comes in part as a response to the needs expressed by our customers. It will give us the ability to increase our large-scale peptide production capacity while allowing us to continue to provide the high quality peptides the marketplace has come to expect.
The plan has two phases: the first part, which was completed in April 2009, involved the construction of four additional peptide purification suites as well as new HPLC columns and tray lyophilizers.
As we continue to build on the consistent growth we have experienced over the years, we are dedicated to our commitment to help companies develop innovative solutions to preserve and improve human life.
In the upcoming issues we will keep you posted as our expansion moves into the next phase. We hope you enjoy the inaugural edition of the Peptide Wire, where we review upcoming events, personnel updates, success stories, recent news, and other items of interest.
