Bacteriostatic Water

Also called bac water · benzyl alcohol water

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing roughly 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth and allows a reconstituted vial to be stored and accessed multiple times. It is the most common diluent used when reconstituting research peptides.
