Peptide Stability

Also called stability · shelf life

Peptide stability refers to resistance to chemical and enzymatic degradation. Key factors include temperature, pH, freeze-thaw cycling, light exposure, and the presence of proteases. Lyophilized peptides are generally stable for months to years frozen; reconstituted solutions degrade faster and typically must be used within weeks.
