Collagen

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the extracellular matrix, providing tensile strength to skin, tendons, bones, and connective tissue. In wound healing research, stimulation of collagen synthesis by fibroblasts is a key endpoint. Peptides such as GHK-Cu are studied for their ability to promote collagen gene expression.
