Fibroblast

Fibroblasts are the primary cell type responsible for synthesizing collagen, elastin, and other extracellular matrix components. They are central to wound repair — migrating to injury sites, depositing matrix, and remodeling tissue. Peptide studies often measure fibroblast proliferation and collagen output as healing endpoints.
